The 2021version of the GCS Index report has been released. The index compares, assess, and visualizes the environmental impacts on key components of the earth environmental system (global commons) such as climate change, biodiversity, and land use change, resulted from socio-economic activities of each country. In the 2021 version, 99 countries and EU were assessed based on 33 indicators, and each country’s trajectory toward the 2030/2050 goals was newly assessed.
